Chubbsafes Record Protection Filing Cabinets provide fire protection for any paper based documents in the event of a severe fire. It is tested and certified to the Underwriters Laboratories test standard UL72 Class 350 (Fire Endurance Test) for paper protection against fire.
Certified according with UL standard 72 in Class 350 Endurance for 2 hour duration.
On the two-hour certified models, each drawer is fire-protected. Even if one of the drawers is accidentally left open, the other closed drawers are still protected by the built in fire resistance partitions.
High quality steel sliders to ensure comfortable operation and full drawer access.
East-to-operate day catch to secure the drawers when closed. Units do not have to be locked to provide fire protection but just to e pushed closed.
Lighter weight construction which means smoother transportation and installation.
A choice of Electronic Lock may also be fitted.
