The Chubbsafes Fortress Size 1 is a medium-security, fire- and burglary-resistant safe for Malaysian businesses and homes that need robust protection for documents, cash and valuables.

Its 90 mm body encloses a seamless casting of Chubbsafes CENTRIX I barrier material, while the 138 mm door combines a 30 mm effective CENTRIX I steel-fibre barrier with additional fire-resistant material. The Size 1 has a 51-litre capacity and a net weight of 350 kg.

Features

60-minute fire resistance: tested to a level corresponding to Japanese Industrial Standard JIS S1037:1981.
90 mm body barrier: inner and outer steel plates enclose a seamless casting of Chubbsafes CENTRIX I specially formulated barrier material.
138 mm door: incorporates a 30 mm effective CENTRIX I steel-fibre barrier for increased strength.
Three-way boltwork: 32 mm moving steel bolts secure the door, with a full-length docking bolt protecting the back edge.
Dual locking: a 3-wheel keyless combination lock and 8-lever double-bitted key lock operate independently. The key lock and glass relocker are protected by drill-resistant hard plates.
Internal fittings: supplied with an adjustable shelf and key-lock internal drawer(s).
Durable finish: polyurethane base paint on the body and door is designed to be scratch-resistant and durable.

Delivery and handling

Free delivery within Klang Valley — to the ground floor, or to any floor reached by a lift that can take the safe.
A doorstep or a short flight of up to three steps is still free. Beyond that, carrying a safe up stairs needs extra manpower and carries a handling charge per floor — the amount depends on the safe’s weight and is shown on the product page before you add it to the cart. This applies where our own team delivers; a courier leaves the safe at the ground floor or lobby and cannot take it further.
Outside Klang Valley, a safe up to 65 kg is sent by courier and the charge is calculated at checkout once you enter your address. The courier delivers to the ground floor or building lobby only and cannot carry a safe upstairs, even where there is a lift, so please arrange your own help for the last leg. A heavier safe travels on our own lorry: place the order and we will confirm the delivery charge with you before we deliver. Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan ship through our East Malaysia forwarder, quoted separately.
