The Uchida UBH-57VE is suited to homes and offices that prefer an upright 27.5 L safe with programmable digital access. It measures 500 H × 350 W × 425 D mm, weighs 57 kg and includes one top plastic tray and one adjustable shelf. Buyers should confirm that the delivery route and final position can accommodate its size and weight.
The Uchida UBH-57VE provides 120 minutes under JIS S 1037 fire resistance for paper documents. Fire resistance does not make a safe fireproof, and performance depends on the tested conditions, correct closure and the type of contents stored.
The UBH-57VE uses a programmable digital lock used with an operational key. Keep every operational or override key secure and separate from the safe, and restrict combinations or codes to authorised users.
It has a floor-mounting hole and supplied bolt set, with no castor rollers.
The programmable digital lock uses 4 × AA batteries. On this below-100 kg model, the operational key is still required to open the door. A magnetic override touch key is included; store both keys securely and replace batteries promptly when the lock indicates low power.
Delivery and handling
- Free delivery within Klang Valley — to the ground floor, or to any floor reached by a lift that can take the safe.
- A doorstep or a short flight of up to three steps is still free. Beyond that, carrying a safe up stairs needs extra manpower and carries a handling charge per floor — the amount depends on the safe’s weight and is shown on the product page before you add it to the cart. This applies where our own team delivers; a courier leaves the safe at the ground floor or lobby and cannot take it further.
- Outside Klang Valley, a safe up to 65 kg is sent by courier and the charge is calculated at checkout once you enter your address. The courier delivers to the ground floor or building lobby only and cannot carry a safe upstairs, even where there is a lift, so please arrange your own help for the last leg. A heavier safe travels on our own lorry: place the order and we will confirm the delivery charge with you before we deliver. Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan ship through our East Malaysia forwarder, quoted separately.
