The Uchida UBH-57CD is suited to homes and offices that need a wide-format 27.5 L safe with mechanical combination-and-key access. It measures 360 H × 490 W × 425 D mm, weighs 57 kg and includes one top plastic tray. Buyers should confirm that the delivery route and final position can accommodate its size and weight.

The Uchida UBH-57CD provides 120 minutes under JIS S 1037 fire resistance for paper documents. Fire resistance does not make a safe fireproof, and performance depends on the tested conditions, correct closure and the type of contents stored.

A reasonable working estimate is approximately 20,000 Malaysian RM50 notes, with a total face value of about RM1,000,000. This estimate uses the UBH-57CD internal dimensions of 236 H × 381 W × 306 D mm, assumes compact bundles of 100 notes approximately 10 mm thick, removes the plastic tray and leaves some operating clearance. A current RM50 note measures 145 × 69 mm. Uchida does not publish an official banknote capacity, so the actual quantity will vary with bundle thickness, note condition, wrapping, stacking arrangement and retained fittings; this figure is an estimate, not a guaranteed cash rating. For easier loading, organisation and access, we recommend at least the Uchida UBH-65E, the larger Uchida UBO-105E, or a larger Uchida model. For heavier commercial cash-safe construction and greater security peace of mind, consider the Falcon EuroSafe series.

Delivery and handling

Free delivery within Klang Valley — to the ground floor, or to any floor reached by a lift that can take the safe.
A doorstep or a short flight of up to three steps is still free. Beyond that, carrying a safe up stairs needs extra manpower and carries a handling charge per floor — the amount depends on the safe’s weight and is shown on the product page before you add it to the cart. This applies where our own team delivers; a courier leaves the safe at the ground floor or lobby and cannot take it further.
Outside Klang Valley, a safe up to 65 kg is sent by courier and the charge is calculated at checkout once you enter your address. The courier delivers to the ground floor or building lobby only and cannot carry a safe upstairs, even where there is a lift, so please arrange your own help for the last leg. A heavier safe travels on our own lorry: place the order and we will confirm the delivery charge with you before we deliver. Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan ship through our East Malaysia forwarder, quoted separately.
