Description
The Aegeus Aegis S1 Envelope Slot Safe is the Aegis S1 Home Safe with a deposit slot cut into the top, so envelopes and documents can be put in without opening the door. Everything behind the slot — the body, the locking and the fire rating — is the S1 safe unchanged.
Key Features
- Envelope deposit slot: a 115 W × 10 D mm opening in the top, for paper documents and cash envelopes.
- The Aegis S1 body: 75 mm body and 50 mm door, unchanged from the home safe.
- Dual mechanical locking: 1 combination lock and 1 cylinder key lock.
- Solid-steel boltwork: 4 moving 25 mm door bolts.
- One-hour fire resistance, as stated in the current Aegeus product sheet.
- Optional digital lock: a Taiwan or SecuRam keypad lock can be fitted instead of the dial.

Cutting the slot does not change the safe’s size or weight. Ask us to quote if you need more than one opening or any other change.
Delivery and handling
- Free delivery within Klang Valley — to the ground floor, or to any floor reached by a lift that can take the safe.
- A doorstep or a short flight of up to three steps is still free. Beyond that, carrying a safe up stairs needs extra manpower and carries a handling charge per floor — the amount depends on the safe’s weight and is shown on the product page before you add it to the cart. This applies where our own team delivers; a courier leaves the safe at the ground floor or lobby and cannot take it further.
- Outside Klang Valley, a safe up to 65 kg is sent by courier and the charge is calculated at checkout once you enter your address. The courier delivers to the ground floor or building lobby only and cannot carry a safe upstairs, even where there is a lift, so please arrange your own help for the last leg. A heavier safe travels on our own lorry: place the order and we will confirm the delivery charge with you before we deliver. Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan ship through our East Malaysia forwarder, quoted separately.
