The Falcon SSM50 is a 750 kg strong-room door for commercial vaults and secure storage rooms. Its 50 mm protective barrier uses Falcon SF2000 high-strength material designed to resist drilling and forced attack.

Construction and security features

  • Layered barrier: SF2000 concrete and barrier construction for resistance to drilling and forced attack.
  • Interlocking protection: six moving horizontal bolts and a full vertical rear rebate help retain the door if the hinges are attacked.
  • Relocking protection: a dead relocker is designed to secure the boltwork during an attack.
  • Fire-test statement: the manufacturer brochure states that the strong-room-door series was tested to JIS S 1037:1989 and rated for 95 minutes of fire resistance. Project-specific compliance requirements should be confirmed before purchase.
  • Burglary-test statement: the brochure references ANSI/UL 687:1981 Class TRTL-60 testing; confirm any certification or regulatory requirement for the intended project.
